Although it's often desirable to have a brand name but that works only after if becomes very widely known. But, where a brand is not (yet) readily recognizable, a business would need to go to great lengths to help consumers associate its name with the products and/or services it provides. Tons of advertising revenue is often needed to try educating consumers to associate a non-generic brand name with the products or services a business provides. Market competition is intensifying by the day, and in this highly competitive environment a business needs every advantage it can get, to be noticed, recognized and above all remembered by its potential customers.
